“7th Sense” aired for the first time on September 29, 2008 on Bulgarian National Television Channel 1. The show has an original and innovative concept and airs daily from Monday to Friday from 6:30 to 7pm.
“7th Sense” is a TV game show in which a two family members are faced with the challenge to identify the relatives of 7 unknown individuals. The family is presented with 7 pictures with profiles, each one of which is related to one of the 7 individuals in the studio. The couple must link each of the individuals in the studio to the correct relative in the pictures. They must rely only on their observations, assumptions and their life experience. For each correct guess they win a cash prize. For each wrong answer they lose all they have won. The TV audience can also participate in the game through a call TV game running parallel to the show.
Our team consists of professionals (psychiatrists, sociologists, etc.) who have developed the general strategy for the game and aided in the selection of each participant in the game. Those who wish to participate can sign up by filling out a questionnaire available on the website of the show, or by calling the game show telephone number. After being approved they are interviewed by our team and introduced to the specifications of the game and prepared for the live broadcast of the show.
One interesting initiative of the producer of the show is the development of a website for the game show where our audience can research, fill out and record their family history, build a family tree and discover new family members. The goal of this initiative is to provoke the development and establishment of a social network.
“7th Sense” is a game which in a very interesting way, for the first time in Bulgaria, will explore, on- air, family relationships, biases by which we are enslave in our personal lives, the manners in which we get to know others and how we analyze those whom we know or don't know.
“7th Sense” is an extremely ambitious prime-time project with a very large family-audience of viewers. The careful study of the television market, the large experience Interactive Media Services has accumulated as a Production Studio, as well as the the original game show concept all guarantee its success. “7th Sense” has all the features of a grand and unique television event: broadcast in the most watched programming block on BNT1; intriguing subject-matter on which are founded world known TV dramas; and an original concept represented live on TV.
